Psychosocial services

Our school social workers help children who are experiencing personal, family or social problems. They offer counselling services for students, teachers and staff.

They are trained to identify problems that affect the students’ behaviour and academic performance, including stress, thoughts of suicide, loneliness, domestic violence, or aggressive behaviour toward other children.

They lead group sessions and activities to help students develop their personal and social skills, such as conflict resolution, self-esteem, communication and mutual assistance.
