Our community organizations

Community organizations are invaluable partners in the health and social services network. There are over 350 organizations in the Montérégie region that offer a wide range of preventive and curative services, as an alternative to the private and public networks. They provide assistance and support, housing, awareness-raising, promotion and advocacy services in several different areas:

  • home care for seniors;
  • social reintegration of psychiatric or psychosocial care recipients;
  • reduction of poverty and discrimination;
  • interventions related to mental health, violence, intellectual and physical disabilities, and physical health;
  • interventions related to addiction problems, at-risk youth, and specific populations (underprivileged, cultural communities, LGBTQ, STI-HIV-AIDS);
  • etc.
