The Clinique régionale d’évaluation des troubles complexes du développement (CRETCD) serves children aged 12 and under in the Montérégie region in whom a complex neurodevelopmental disorder is suspected.
Referral
With a referral from a doctor or a CLSC worker, the team at the CRETCD will preform a diagnostic assessment to:
- establish the diagnosis or differential diagnosis (multidisciplinary approach) and document the child’s level of functioning;
- help family members to better understand the child’s behaviour, and to adjust their approaches accordingly and as early as possible;
- refer families to the appropriate services and identify opportunities for intervention.
